Mononoke are not just spirits—they are manifestations of emotion, memory, and imbalance. This project explores their presence across Japanese culture, from The Tale of Genji to the surreal visuals of Mononoke. By combining traditional references with modern design, I created a book that draws viewers into a world that is both eerie and captivating.
